Scheduling Coordinator

Star Pediatrics by Abound Health is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to join our team in Mount Laurel, NJ. This is a hybrid position — working 3 days in-office and 2 days from home each week. In this role, you will report to the Director of Nursing. You will be responsible for coordinating services, ensuring appropriate nurse scheduling and client coverage, and maintaining accurate records for the care team.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Assign nurses with appropriate skills to clients
+ Schedule orientations and inform RN Care Manager about first shift supervisions for nurses
+ Maintain schedules in the Alayacare, including updates to time, employee call-outs, and insurance/pay source changes
+ Provide accurate schedules to clients and update them on any changes
+ Ensure payroll paperwork is submitted by nurses within 3 weeks and resolve issues
+ Appropriately assign payment sources and codes for client shifts
+ Report client complaints and employee non-compliance to the appropriate management
Qualifications:
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
+ Excellent organizational skills
+ Ability to think critically in challenging situations
+ Previous experience in a Home Care Industry preferred
+ Ability to prioritize workload and perform job duties in a timely manner
+ Spanish-speaking skills are a plus
Education:
+ Associates Degree required
Compensation & Benefits:
The target base salary range for this full-time, hourly position is between $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
Base pay is determined by factors such as work location, experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. In addition to base pay, total compensation may include various other forms of pay. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive health, dental, and wellness benefits, which begin on your 90th day of employment following first of the month. Additionally, our 401(k) plan becomes available after 6 months of employment and 500 hours worked (Full time employees only).
