**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** Day Shift **Description:** Job Summary · In accordance with the Mission and Guiding Behaviors; the Scheduler functions as a liaison between the physicians, patients, office and hospital testing staff in scheduling patient’s office visits and testing. · Communicates pertinent clinical/scheduling information to the physicians and office staff. · Coordinates physician and device office visits and testing appointments. Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) · Education: High school graduate or equivalent · Licensure / Certification: · Experience: One year experience working with scheduling or hospital units/ancillary departments preferred. · Effective Communication Skills · Customer service oriented · Knowledge of Microsoft Office and scheduling software. Prepares written orders for testing. · Educates patients or referring offices on preparation instruction prior to testing and ensures comprehension. · Coordinates and schedules physician and device office visits and testing appointments. · Accurate and efficient with scheduling processes and systems to meet practice productivity standards in order decrease customer wait times while adhering to the Standards of Service Excellence. · Independently problem solves to indentify areas of opportunity to enhance the customer experience. · Responsible for ensuring complete and accurate collection of patient information and demographics. · Communicates with the office staff to as needed for continuity and delivery of quality care. · Makes changes to the schedules as needed per supervisor request.
