Position Details: 

Location: Clearwater, FL 

Status: Full Time (non-exempt) 

Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (may vary)

The Scheduler is responsible for: 

Coordinates all surgery, testing, pre-ops for new and established patients 

Greets and signs in patients 

Supports Medical Office Rep activities 

Obtains patient information 

Schedules patient appointments 

Greets and signs in patients 

Assists with patient inquiries 

May arrange for other procedures 

Laboratory and consultations with referral doctors 

Collects and posts payments 

Assists patients with billing questions 

Ensures completeness of encounter form prior to patient checkout 

Sorts and distributes mail 

Copies medical records 

Works back office as needed 

Perform other duties as assigned 

Required Education: 

High School or Equivalent 

Experience: 

Required 1 year customer service or 

1 year healthcare
