Job Details:
Job Title: Scale House Operator – First Processing Indirect
Job Description: When trucks pulls on the scale place a ticket in the printer and print a weight. Threes weights per truck will be captured initial, shrink, and empty. Once the ticket has been printed record required information on the scale house manifest work sheet. This position will also be responsible for spotting Offal trailers on an as needed basis the trailer must be changed 3-4 times per shift, and the blood trailer and bone residue trailers will be moved on an as needed basis. It is a state requirement that the team member in this position be a state bonded and certified weigh master. In addition, during idle time this position will be responsible aiding the yard driver in the bucking and unbuckling of cages along with any other task as assigned by supervisor. Team member must have a valid Alabama Driver’s License and clear MVR.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must be able to or willing to learn how to drive yard dog truck.
