The Opportunity Your Impact as SC Analyst your responsibilities would consist of : The Customs Declarations analyst LATAM will be responsible for preparing and collecting the needed information for the filing of I/E declarations across the different countries of the region. The role will work together with the customs broker procurement team to commission customs brokers and assure that the services needed for the region are being met. This position will also support the implementation and execution of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for customs brokers, ensuring consistent and accurate declarations across the region. It will be key to guarantee that all brokers follow established guidelines and that the service quality is aligned with organizational expectations. The Customs Declarations Analyst will be responsible for reviewing completed customs documents submitted by brokers to verify their accuracy against company data, including HS Tariff Codes, special programs, free trade agreements, and free trade zone benefits applicable to each transaction. In some cases, the analyst may receive partially completed documents or data requests that require additional input, research, or preparation from our side to complete the filing process correctly and in a timely manner. Responsibilities Work together with compliance team on the baseline of free trade agreements, special programs, free trade zones and special duty regimes that are currently being used. Create in each DTP a baseline of existing incoterms being used for their correct declaration within the customs declaration formats in the different countries of the region. Create a guide for the filling of the customs declaration for the different countries within the region and the different documents needed for the filing and clearance of goods in the countries. Analyze new duty optimization opportunities that leverage the team’s productivity targets such as free trade agreements or special import/export programs. Work hand by hand with the Global Trade and Compliance group to assure the correct declaration of all information on customs documentation. Align import and export requirements and documentation with SME´s, to confirm that all required documentation is available at time of declaration. Support the execution of SOPs for communication with Customs Brokers that assure a smooth operation and import/export of the needed goods. Support standardization, continuous improvement, and knowledge management to unlock overall I/E and Customs & Trade optimization and decision making across sectors. Build and strengthen relationships across sectors to assure smooth import export operation of goods. Support and follow up relationships with the different Customs brokers across the region. Keep the operational file up to date to have real-time visibility of the situation of the operations. Provide needed information for KPIs regarding import, export, samples filing and presentation according to set times and service (SLAs). Support Global communities of practice for I/E improving sector collaboration with Global team and with each other and sharing best practices and support the team’s automation initiatives. Gather needed information for ISF filing and management Qualifications Who Are We Looking For? Qualifications / Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in International Trade, Customs Management 2-4 years’ experience in a similar role Ability to positively influence teams outside of direct responsibility and across multiple business units Capable of working in a remote work group Utilize technical/functional knowledge that creates opportunities and solves business problems Self-starter with attention to detail and experience leading multiple teams Ability to work collaboratively and proactively across multi-functional, sector, and business teams Excellent written and oral communication skills; proactively communicates using appropriate methods for situation and audience in clear, concise and professional manner English Fluency both written and verbal required, Exceptional communication skills across global businesses Experience developing and deploying large, complex best practices or projects Experience with IT platforms and tools including design, configuration, development and implementation Strong track record of developing capabilities Strong track record in formulating innovative solutions and driving change Ability to navigate through ambiguity and adapt quickly to a changing environment Strong team player passionate about collaborating, and committed to teamwork in all situations Advanced excel and other Microsoft tools (PowerApps, Power BI/Tableau) If this is an opportunity that interests you, we encourage you to apply even if you do not meet 100% of the requirements.
