Savings Fund & HRIS Manager

Job description:

The Savings Fund Benefit Manager and HRIS (Human Resources Information System) serves as the technical point of contact within the Human Resources Management department, including the development, implementation, and modification of technological systems that automate Human Resources processes. They also maintain internal database files and tables and develop reports.

Monitors the processing of the organization's Human Resources information using the most efficient and cost-effective Human Resources systems (Workday) and software applications.

Researches, analyzes, designs, and maintains information systems to support Human Resources administration and projects.

Provides support to Human Resources at the plant level with day-to-day activities in Workday, as well as monitoring integrations/interfaces.

Conducts monitoring activities for the Mexico Savings Fund benefit to ensure that activities are carried out in accordance with the company's requirements.

General Functions

Liaise with business units to gather and analyze business needs and direct the necessary planning, development, testing, and implementations in WD.

Identify automation opportunities within the HR process.

Collaborate with external IT providers if necessary.

Promote and conduct periodic reviews to support the implementation of Workday system updates and patches when necessary.

Evaluate and implement tools that help improve and maintain data integrity.

Independently research and maintain current knowledge of new and emerging HRIS trends.

Participate in and lead projects focused on continuous improvement and development.

Oversee the proper administration of the Savings Fund and direct the Savings Fund team.

Follow up with the team on the end-to-end Savings Fund process.

The Savings Fund Supervisor reports directly to the Supervisor.

Manage the HRIS team who is responsible of the following:

Support HR and other departments for HRIS support

Resolve application issues for users in Workday

Document various processes while identifying HR concerns and collecting data analysis and generating reports

Implementing Workday upgrades, as well as providing training and technical support to end users.

Identifying the need for new processes while developing and implementing new processes and systems for effective and efficient Human Resources management.

Required skills:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Administration, Databases, Computer Networks, or related fields.

Advanced Excel skills (Vlookups, PivotTable).

10+ years of experience in HRIS.

Advanced English skills.

HRIS basics (data entry, quality, data analysis, integrations, etc.)

Advanced knowledge of database management, security, and query execution Strong ability to document processes and process improvement; perform diagnostic testing and audits as needed.

Strong problem-solving skills, experience in human resources and supplier management.

Optimize HRIS processes where appropriate.

Integrate new software, as well as Workday updates and enhancements, and perform diagnostic testing to assess the root cause of any issues.

Perform statistical analysis of HRIS data and run queries where necessary.
