The Opportunity:Analyze complex business problems to be solved with automated system focusing on Logistics/Warehouse Management. Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Configure system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Design details of automated systems. May provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems.

The Opportunity

Avantor is looking for a Functional SAP Transportation Management (TM) Expert with hands-on experience in SAP TM and SAP Business Network for Logistics (BN4L). In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, configuring, and optimizing transportation processes for our international logistics operations, with a strong focus on the European distribution network. You’ll collaborate closely with business stakeholders of different levels, technical teams, and external partners to deliver innovative and scalable SAP TM solutions.

What we’re looking for

Experience:

At least 3 years of experience working with SAP TM and BN4L, preferably S4 HANA side-by-sideExperience in modelling business processes into SAP TMExperience in BN4L GTT and FC is desiredExperience in TM integration with EWM is a plusExperience in EWM is a plus

Skills:

Strong understanding of transportation related business processesStrong analytical skillsGood understanding of the integration points between TM, BN4L and ECCEffective written and oral English communications and interpersonal skillsABAP knowledge and any other programming knowledge/experience is a plusAbility to work effectively in a multi-tasking environment, working independently and prioritizing workBe highly motivated, have a great work ethic and enjoy working as part of a team
