Job Summary
The SAP SuccessFactors Talent Management Expert is responsible for leading the implementation and optimization of the Talent Suite modules, including Performance & Goals, Succession Planning, Career Development Planning, and Learning (if applicable). This role requires deep understanding of talent processes and hands-on configuration expertise in the SAP SuccessFactors environment.
The Expert will oversee the full lifecycle of implementations— from blueprinting to post-go-live support— while engaging directly with HR stakeholders to align system capabilities with organizational goals.
The role also includes leading cross-functional teams, ensuring proper integration with other SAP modules (especially Employee Central), and maintaining high-quality documentation and governance. Strong client-facing experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end implementation and rollout of SuccessFactors Talent modulesManage project plans, resources, and timelines across multiple clientsConduct requirement workshops and translate business needs into system designConfigure modules such as Performance, Goals, Succession, and Development PlanningCollaborate with Employee Central and integration teams to ensure alignmentHandle test planning, defect management, and UAT coordinationOversee data migration, validation, and go-live preparationManage change requests and system enhancements post go-liveDeliver user training and provide subject matter expertise to HR teamsMonitor SAP releases and lead regression testing and updatesRequired Qualifications & Skills
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or related fieldSAP SuccessFactors certification in one or more Talent modules (required)Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) preferredAdditional certifications in SAP EC or Integration are a plusExperience
8–12 years of overall SAP HCM/SuccessFactors experienceMinimum 5 years of focused experience in Talent Management module implementationsAt least 2 years in a team leadership or managerial capacityProven record of delivering full-cycle SuccessFactors projects in complex environmentsExperience with global HR transformations is preferredAt least 5 years of experience in the banking sectorTechnical & Functional Skills
Deep knowledge of SuccessFactors Talent modules (PMGM, Succession, CDP)Strong understanding of global HR and talent management processesFamiliarity with integration touchpoints with Employee Central and LMSSkilled in managing permissions, workflows, templates, and business rulesExperience with role-based permissions and data privacy standardsComfortable with SAP reporting tools and analytics within SuccessFactorsSoft Skills
