As an SAP Procure-to-Pay (PtP) Solution Specialist, you’ll play a critical role within our global SAP Platform team, supporting JM’s world-class technology landscape and ensuring our SAP solutions enable strategic growth and operational efficiency. You’ll contribute to the JM’s mission as a global leader in sustainable technology, driving the transformation of energy and reducing carbon emissions for a cleaner, brighter future.
The role:As a SAP PtP Solution Specialist, you will help drive our goals by:
SAP System Management & Maintenance: Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external support teams to maintain, support, and optimize all SAP-related systems, ensuring stability, reliability, and high performance.
Business Engagement & Requirement Gathering: Act as a trusted partner to system end-users, subject matter experts (SMEs), and business stakeholders—understanding their needs, challenges, and goals—and translating them into clear, actionable functional specifications.
Solution Design & Continuous Improvement: Provide governance and guidance on technical solution design, configuration, and delivery for PtP applications. Support project deployments and continuous improvement activities across SAP systems.
Application Support & Issue Resolution: Lead and support application management teams in diagnosing and resolving incidents and problems. Provide direct functional support to end-users facing major issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Operational Governance & Best Practice Adoption: Champion SAP PtP best practices, ensuring proper integration and alignment throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain accurate documentation, support audits, enforce compliance, and help deliver high service levels across SAP operations.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:2+ years of hands-on SAP MM configuration and support experience.
Knowledge of other SAP modules (FI/CO, PP, SD, Master Data).
Familiarity with SAP Supply Chain applications (e.g., EWM, IBP, DMC).
Strong grasp of Procure-to-Pay (PtP) business processes.
Experience in SAP system support, governance, and continuous improvement.
Involvement in SAP deployments across project lifecycles.
Skilled in stakeholder engagement with IT, business, and third parties.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication abilities.
Experience working in global, cross-functional environments is a plus.
