KION SCS is looking for a SAP Senior Developer responsible for managing the Technical developments of the SAP Systems in our NA region. As the Technical Consultant / Developer, you will have the opportunity to work on the Business Transformation project for KION SCS and build / customize the SAP S/4HANA applications.

Ensures compliance of developed solution to underlying solution architecture.Develop ABAP functionality, report, enhancement, Interface etcDevelop HANA objects like OData, CDS views, CI functions and SQL scripts.Support the application development efforts, unit testing, create technical specifications, conduct code review, create and manage transports across SAP SystemsDevelop test plans and automated scripts to assure expected performance quality levels meet standards in development efforts.  Analyze root cause and provide solutions for production and development issuesResponsible for developing inbound and outbound interfaces to/from the cloud to On-Premise and Cloud instances of SAP ProductsProvides planning and design support for the development of solution architectures that will be implemented in a multiple system environment.Defining and implementing of interfaces to upstream and downstream systemsResponsible of understanding various integration adapters in SAP CPI (SFSF, ODATA, SFTP, IDOC, SOAP, HTTP, REST Adapters) to exchange messages between sender and receiverMonitor and present periodic status to stakeholders.Monitor Risks / Issues and prepare appropriate mitigation plansEnsure best practices are followed and required processes and specifications are documented

6+ years of SAP experience as an SAP ABAP consultant and 2+ years of SAP S/4HANA experienceAt least 2 SAP end-to-end implementation experience and at least one S/4HANA Implementation / conversion experienceProficient with Traditional ABAP WRICEFs and working with SAP Web IDE, Eclipse IDE, ADTIntegrate SAP S4 HANA with SAP middleware using IDocs, remote function modules, web services or ABAP proxies.Experience working with Native SQL, CDS, AMDP, ALV on HANA, Adobe Forms, RF screen Programming, CDS views, CE functions and SQL scriptsExperience in SQL Trace SAP Run time analysis Debugging ABAP Query Info SetsKnowledge of ABAP Object-Oriented ProgrammingExperience in handling different data conversions like JSON to XML, CSV to XML, etc.Desirable Experience with EDI integrations, API managementAble to discuss (within own area of expertise) requirements with a customer, and to challenge and clarify when appropriate. From the requirements, able to develop a high level design or plan, and then estimate the amount of effort required to deliver. Able to advise the engagement owner about the risks associated with this work package.Ability to conduct/lead oral status/technical interchange meetings with clients on small to medium sized engagements.Ability to apply technology and consulting to solve a client business problem.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, Strategic thinking and thought leadership capabilities; ability to institutionalize new tools, processes, and technologiesKnowledge of implementation project life cycles including blueprinting, configuration, testing, cut-over and go-live supportProficient using Project Management tools (JIRA), preparing and presenting appropriate status reports.
