The SAP Security Engineer is responsible for implementing, maintaining and monitoring security controls across SAP systems to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other cyber threats. This role requires hands-on experience with SAP security tools and configurations, as well as a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Creating passion: your responsibilities Implement, configure and maintain SAP security controls Monitor SAP systems for security events, vulnerabilities and compliance with internal policies and external regulations Perform regular security assessments and audits of SAP environments (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC, BW, Fiori) Configure and administer SAP security tools and technologies Troubleshoot and resolve SAP security-related issues, supporting incident response and forensic investigations related to SAP systems Collaborate with SAP teams to ensure secure system configurations and patch management, ensuring security requirements are met Assist in the deployment of SAP security tools and technologies (e.g., SAP GRC, SAP IDM, SIEM integrations) Document and maintain SAP security procedures, configurations and incident reports Stay informed about SAP security advisories, patches, and emerging threats Contributing your strengths: your qualifications Bachelor’s/Master’s in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field 3+ years of experience in SAP security Following certificates are preferred; CISSP, CISM or SAP certifications English is a Must, German and French are a plus Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST) Solid understanding of SAP security concepts, including role-based access control (RBAC), segregation of duties (SoD), user provisioning, SOS reports Experience with SAP security tools such as SAP GRC, SAP IDM or SAP Solution Manager In-depth knowledge of SAP systems, including S/4HANA, ECC, and other SAP modules Experience with scripting languages for automating security tasks Our commitment to you: your benefitsAs an internationally successful family business, the Liebherr Group offers you a secure job, a unique variety of tasks and exciting development opportunities.
