Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Project Manager to lead the end-to-end implementation of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record in managing complex projects. Managing multiple priorities and deadlines will be critical for project success. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the project is completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
ResponsibilitiesOversee the full project lifecycle of an SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation—from planning and design to deployment and post-go-live support.Manage cross-functional project teams, including internal stakeholders, SAP consultants, systems integrators, and third-party vendors.Translate business goals into actionable project plans with clearly defined scope, timelines, and resource needs.Define and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, deliverables, and resource allocations.Drive alignment between technical and business teams, facilitating collaboration and accountability.Facilitate workshops and ensure business process requirements are fully captured and aligned with SAP best practices.Manage project risks and issues; proactively identify risk mitigation strategies and execute contingency plans.Ensure compliance with change management and governance policies.Act as the primary point of contact between the business and SAP implementation partners.Provide regular updates to executive sponsors and steering committees.Ensure quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle, including testing (SIT, UAT), cutover planning, and hypercare.Conduct project evaluations and create reports for management and stakeholders.Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.ERP Project Management experience is required, with a preference for SAP.7+ years of project management experience, including 3+ years managing enterprise-level or strategic projects.Strong knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and agile project delivery.Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or Agile certification is strongly preferred.Ability to lead teams through change in fast-paced environments.Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.Advanced proficiency with project management tools.Strong negotiation, leadership, and decision-making skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a Manufacturing Environment is advantageous.Familiarity with SAP Fiori, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and integration platforms.Experience working with onsite and remote teams.Understanding of data migration tools and strategies in an S/4HANA context.Familiarity with cloud-based deployment and security best practices.Work Environment
The work environment is predominantly onsite, with some flexibility for remote work. This role is based in a US corporation located in Charlotte, with a Japanese-owned history. The position offers valuable SAP implementation project experience, beneficial for future projects.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr.
