SAP Process Manager
Our Technology team are looking for an experienced SAP Process Manager to join them on a permanent basis in London. With a proven track record of effectively supporting business users and SAP applications, you’ll come on board in this busy role to ensure the successful implementation of SAP solutions here at Penguin Random House.
Joining a newly created team and reporting into the ERP Programme Director, you’ll have oversight of the design, documentation and continuous improvement of Penguin Random House business processes that align with SAP functionalities. You’ll act as a trusted SAP process gatekeeper, collaborating with other support teams to ensure that all code deployments have been through a rigorous process before they go live.

The role
Key responsibilities:
Utilise SAP Signavio to document, visualise and analyse existing business processes to support with mapping. Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to streamline workflows and enhance user experience. Implement process changes while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and user adoption. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements for SAP solutions. Identify training requirements for end-users to ensure effective usage of SAP applications. Identify, manage and communicate any risks and dependencies between new process requests as part of SAP Transformation programme. Ensure on-going reviews of process strategies across the SAP applications. Work with Project Managers, SAP Test Manager and SAP Environments Manager to ensure dates are communicated and co-ordinated with operational activity. Track and evaluate the performance of SAP processes to ensure they meet key performance indicators (KPIs). Provide ongoing support to users, addressing issues and facilitating resolutions in a timely manner. Work with the SAP project and development teams to co-ordinate any SAP process changes ensuring a consistent way of working is followed. Lead initiatives for continuous SAP process improvement using data-driven insights and best practices. Work closely to SAP Architects to assess and recommend new SAP functionalities and tools that can enhance business processes and drive innovation. Mentor and guide team members in process management methodologies and SAP functionalities. Develop strong working relationships with super users, the rest of the Technology team and suppliers.
What you’ll bring
Essential criteria:
Proven track record of effectively supporting business users and SAP applications in a similar role. Previous process management experience, with a background in working as a process analyst within SAP environments. Experience of optimising and streamlining processes, including the ability to write detailed process maps and optimisation plans. Experience of working with SAP Signavio. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate and influence effectively at all levels of the business.
Preferred criteria:
Able to thrive in fast paced and high-pressure environments, finding solutions in a timely manner. An understanding of different development methodologies. Ability to quickly assimilate complex information and use judgement to draw conclusions and make recommendations. Ability to work with ambiguity and use judgement to drive forward deliverables.

The salary for this opportunity will be dependent on how your skills and experience align to the role, plus a generous bonus scheme and benefits.
Hybrid working
While our offices across the UK are places to connect, collaborate and celebrate with colleagues, we recognise that flexibility around where you work is just as important. For this role we expect that you will work from the Embassy Gardens office in London 2 days per week, with a willingness to travel to our site in Frating, Colchester on occasion.
