Our 24/7 Auburn, Maine manufacturing site is hiring 1 SAP Key User for our in-house Logistics department. Career pathways following this role can progress into several different tracks: QA Analyst, Support Department Leader, and Process Engineer among other roles.

The purpose of this role is to oversee and execute inventory management controls to meet and exceed stewardship compliance expectations. The Logistics Key User will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing site reliability of site SAP systems, resulting in consistent and continuous improvement. In this role, the selected individual will be responsible for adherence to global policies regarding inventory record accuracy, virtual location management, return to supplier, obsolete material, pallet rentals, etc. The hired individual will also provide support to other site SAP Key Users in the compliance of policies for receiving, inventory adjustments, data integrity, and scrap. The Logistics Key User will utilize RTCIS (P&G's internal warehouse management system) and SAP to ensure the expected daily requirements of the supply chain are met efficiently.

Work Schedule:       

This is a primarily day shift role on a Monday through Friday schedule with shifts going from 7:00am to 3:30pm.

Changes in business volume and production requirements can cause the plant to occasionally change the length of work shifts or the rotation schedule. Flexibility is expected, but any change in work schedule will be communicated in advance

Responsibilities:

Complete Daily Warehouse Key User Uptime route

Ensure pending overdue dashboard is reviewed daily with an attempt to reconcile by assigned owner, coaching teams as needed

Reconcile RTCIS driving to root cause where possible to create process improvements for loss elimination

Monitor assigned SAP virtual locations daily to ensure appropriate SAP transactions are completed every working day (i.e. RTV)

Complete internal stewardship toolkits on a quarterly basis, creating action plans for identified defects and driving them to resolution.

Support Wall to Wall inventory audits, looking for inventory outages throughout warehouse staging and storage locations. Additional support required to prepare and participate and execution of internal audits as needed.

Monitor creation and deletion of RTCIS locations, verifying signage and physical space meet standards and update site counting processes according to site SOP.

Obsolete/Aging Material- review monthly remnant e-scraps that have been approved and scrap appropriately (physically and electronically).

Support Logistics Process leader with eScraps and physical / electronic scrapping from Logistics Hold Areas, as needed

Return to vendor and miscellaneous shipment ownership and process improvement.

Complete pallet audits, maintain yard checks/status, order management, return pallets, and invoice reviews. Create and revise pallet inspection procedures to ensure they are aligned with global policies.

Job Qualifications

​You must be 18 years of age or older

Associates or Bachelors in Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Systems or related degrees

3-5+ years of working with SAP and / or Warehouse Management Systems

Intermediate Excel skills

Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, Outlook, Permissions, User Support)

Ability to troubleshoot across multiple platforms and coordinate with other internal teams when needed

Able to work flexible shifts as required by business needs.

Preferred | work experience in manufacturing, logistics / warehousing, or general industrial environment

We believe in order to be able to perform on the job, you will need to meet the following physical requirements: 

Lift 50 pounds by bending and stooping; climb, stand, and move around on stairs, ladders and platforms; twist, turn and bend

Wear required safety personal protective equipment (eye protection, ear protection, safety shoes)

Enter confined spaces

Stand on concrete floors for an extended period of time

Starting Pay: $41.81 /hour
