What you'll do

Position title: SAP iXp Intern - Spend Process Management

Location: Prague, CZ

Duration: 6 months + possibility to get prolonged

Time schedule: 20-40 hours/week

 

The individual is purpose driven, has high levels of social skills and is motivated by challenging tasks and has the ability to cope with a volatile environment. The Spend Process Management Team is looking for an encouraged working student to support the entire team in running projects, workshops and monitoring of ongoing simplification and standardization initiatives.

 

Driving freshly defined initial initiates to enhance our Cloud solutions (SAP Ariba, SAP Fieldglass and SAP Concur) and general project management support as well as process documentation and operational support As one of the main projects the team is looking to build comprehensive reporting capabilities across all processes, therefore analytics is key area of focus Additional areas of responsibility may be identified over time depending on the candidate’s strengths and interests.

 

The key for the successful candidate is being eager to learn, a keen interest in Procurement topics as well as a high affinity to technology.

 

What you bring

Student at a university or a university of applied sciences Preferred fields of study: Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field Languages: Fluency in English; any different language is a plus Ability & willingness to learn and work in an international environment Analytical skills, high quality awareness Soft skills: Highly motivated, High Service Attitude, result driven, proactive, team player, good communication skills, ability to work independently and flexible, expert in organizing and time management, creative. Computer skills  MS-Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point) – advanced knowledge  any SAP Technology is a plus  any insight into video creation/photoshop, etc. is a plus  Project management skills are a plus

As the digital backbone of SAP, the Corporate Processes & Information Technology (CPIT) organization drives the company’s transformation and growth by simplifying complexity and enhancing operational performance. We empower SAP to operate smarter, faster, and more effectively at scale by delivering innovative solutions, technologies, and processes aligned with SAP’s strategic priorities. As part of CPIT Organization, the Spend Process Management Team increases visibility into spending and decision-making for the end-to-end source to pay process (Demand - Source - Contract - Procure - Pay) and ensure that processes are simpler, more compliant and more effective. Spend resolves end-users’ needs while considering SAP’s strategic business and compliance requirements by the implementation of simpler and homogeneous Spend processes that make our customers happy. Spend Process Management team strives to centralize, automate and standardize services and drive process excellence and fully adopted SAP Procurement Solutions to reduce and avoid operational workload. Furthermore, the Spend team supports the procurement and shared services organization by orchestrating the ecosystem and upcoming challenging environment via collaborative internal business partnerships as well as strong relationship with our external suppliers.
