Position Title: SAP iXp Intern - Concur Travel, Software Developer

 

Location: Vancouver, BC

 

Expected Start Date: September 2025 or January 2026

 

Contract Duration: 8 months

 

Work Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

 

This team is responsible for managing trip and booking data, and its integrations with TripLink, TripIt, Expense, Receipts, and Data Platform. As a Software Developer on the team, you will work on writing and delivering end-to-end features that bolster SAP Concur Travel’s market leading position.

 

Responsibilities:

Collaborating with Product Management, UX, and the rest of the team to design, develop, and deliver end-to-end solutions that simplify corporate travel management Building expertise in a focused set of domains, while keeping an interest across services owned by the team Extending our build/deploy pipeline automation  Adding performance enhancements to improve customer experience Investigating and remediating critical customer issues or vulnerabilities

Education: Computer Science or related field of study

 

Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s or JD/PhD program

 

Basic Skills / Experience 0-2+ years of experience in Golang, Kotlin, Java, C#, C++, Swift, React, Redux, GraphQL, or equivalent language Experience working in an agile, live site culture which practices frequent deployments and automation of everything including infrastructure buildout, deployments, and tests You are a strong proponent of effective communication. You will be involved in decisions that can impact global teams across the engineering organization You are a team player who is highly collaborative, an effective communicator, willing to listen and work with others Desired Skills / Experience Experience delivering solutions in cloud-native architecture (Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, Helm, Envoy, Vault) AWS experience with tools including EKS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, RDS, Redis

SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role. The targeted range for this position is 24-35 CAD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidates will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Due to the nature of the role, which involves global interactions with SAP entities, as well as with employees and stakeholders in Canada, functional proficiency in English is required for positions based in the Quebec.
