Your ability to accelerate impact and make meaningful change for your clients is enabled by our strategic partner ecosystem and our robust technology platforms across the IBM portfolio **Your role and responsibilities** Hiring manager and Recruiter should collaborate to create the relevant verbiage. **Required technical and professional expertise** • Work within the Finance Platforms product team to transfer business requirements into solutions, safeguarding the template design of our Global Solutions. • You are the primary regional contact for the SAP Excise Tax management in the Asia Pacific region. You work close with the OpCos in the region and the Platforms Product team members of other regions to deploy and support the solution. • Keep up with relevant developments in your functional area and ensure the development, transfer, and retention of knowledge. • Deliver working functional enhancements, including writing and reviewing functional specs and test scripts, within the allocated timescale and quality standards that minimize rework and aspire to a zero-defect culture. • Provide support to end users for issue resolution, user acceptance testing, and training. • Manage the quality of the solution and technical debt. • Identify potential bottlenecks and their underlying causes that affect the product and propose how to resolve these, reducing the complexity of the work that has to be done. • Provide guidance and coaching to other team members on changes throughout the design process, ensuring that the key competencies and expertise needed to develop, build, deploy, and support the Product are embedded in the team. **Preferred technical and professional experience** • Bachelor/Master’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Electronics, or other related studies. • A minimum of 5 years of consulting experience, ideally in the functional domain. • Experience with deploying the relevant functionalities in the SAP Excise Tax management. • Ability to communicate well with technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Team player and able to work effectively and in an agile way at all levels of the product teams with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus. • Able to identify and understand multiple stakeholder perspectives and ""truths"" and bring an open mind to understanding and build on the views of others.
