Responsibilities:
Acting as a Subject Matter Expert for SAP FICO modules.
Acting as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.
Supporting ongoing business operations, resolving critical incidents and realizing continuous improvement opportunities.
Working with business and cross-functional teams to gather business user requirements, drive functional design and deliver high-quality digital solutions within the SAP FICO.
Working with the technical consultants to develop RICEF components as per business needs.
Developing, reviewing, and maintaining comprehensive documentation for all SAP changes, including requirements specifications, functional design documents, configuration changes, and test plans.
Ensuring all documentation meets the stringent standards required for pharmaceutical regulatory compliance.
Proactively identifying and proposing business process and/or system enhancements.
Working self-directed and independently when needed.
Keeping abreast of SAP updates, developments, and best practices in FICO modules.
Requirements:
CA/ICWA/MBA (Finance) degree.
Strong hands-on experience with SAP FICO modules.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation and/or roll-out projects, preferably in product costing within a full life cycle implementation.
Expertise in S/4HANA product costing, ML, and COPA is preferred.
Experience in product costing integration with other modules.
Strong understanding of SAP FICO configuration and customization.
Proficiency in SAP modules such as COPA, Product Costing, Activity-Based Accounting, Marginal Analysis, and Material Ledger.
Knowledge of SAP FI would be an advantage.
Deep understanding of business processes and technical aspects of financial modules.
Experience with FI integration points across SAP modules (PP, QM, MM, SD).
Basic knowledge of integration methods between SAP and external systems.
Experience with S/4HANA is a plus.
