What you’ll do
We are looking for an SAP Concur Solution Architect to join our team, focused primarily on customers running SAP Concur, as well as other SAP Cloud Solutions. In this role, you will work closely with customers, partners, SAP Customer Success, SAP Product Managers, and SAP engineers.
You will exhibit deep software architecture expertise and create high-quality solutions for customers throughout the customer journey. This will involve working with customers on concepts, and then at a deeper technical level by performing your own proof of concept, trying things out, prepare persona specific scenarios, testing if things really work as promised or expected, and recording demos of end-to-end scenarios. You will help to successfully implement customers, drive customers to adopt / consume our solutions, and increase utilization of those solutions. You will collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data from your customer engagements, then present insights and recommendations to product management to improve product strategy and decision making. You will create and publish customer and partner-facing content that will describe best practices, provide tips and tricks for successful product implementation, and create a sense of community for professionals working in and around our products and solutions. During customer engagements, you will support the creation of a combined product vision of SAP Concur and other SAP products and partner solutions. You will be involved in customer escalations, working with colleagues, partners, and SAP executives to manage and resolve. You’ll collaborate with local resources worldwide to gather local requirements for product roadmaps and backlogs. This information will be passed to Product Management for prioritization, thereby ensuring successful execution and market success. This role is new for Concur and ever evolving. You will need to be comfortable with change, ambiguity, and at times be self-guided
What you bring
University degree in Computer Science, Business Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent. SAP Certifications or equivalent working experience in any of the following solutions: SAP Concur Expense, SAP Concur Travel, ICS, S/4, Cloud Integrations. Solid experience as a consultant, developer, or support engineer in one or more of the areas mentioned above. Advanced understanding of SAP Concur technical architectures, plus SAP ERP and other SAP Cloud solutions. A strong technical background (e.g., experienced in reviewing configuration, testing, issue replication, troubleshooting). You are not afraid of getting into a technical discussion with our developers. Experience in technical integration to/with SAP Concur. Demonstrated executive presence and experience presenting to executive audiences as part of a broader practical experience working directly with large enterprise customers, SAP implementation projects, service deliveries and/or project management. Experience working well in a team-based environment, including strong collaboration with co-workers and a deep appreciation of the importance of communication and feedback. Ability to leverage reporting data to identify customer trends and behavioral patterns, and to extract actionable insights and feedback for Product Teams. Ability to work under pressure, in critical situations and under tight deadlines while bringing strong interpersonal communication and facilitation skills. Ability to take ownership of requests, to drill down into technical issues, troubleshoot and solve complex and detailed problems. Ability to deliver clear, concise presentations and present complex information in a clear and precise manner to both internal and external stakeholders, including higher management and C-level executives. Willingness and ability to travel to customers. Fluent English
