Position Overview:
The Technical Consultant (TC) role blends consulting, project management, development, and technical tasks. As a TC you will be part of SAP Concur's implementation team and work with your assigned customers on different projects throughout usually a 3-to-5-month implementation period. You will consult with your customers on integrating SAP Concur with their Financial and HR systems (SAP or non-SAP), which may include customizing interfaces using ABAP or BTP. You will also be a technical point of contact for our clients throughout their entire lifecycle at SAP Concur as clients explore new integrations and technologies.
Responsibilities:
· Become an SAP Concur expert, knowing our systems inside out
· Perform the technical setup of SAP Concur systems
· Advise customers on our integration best practices using Flat files, Web Services, SAP Native integration, BTP and more
· Perform general issue troubleshooting and resolution, including escalations to Development team
· Communicate "best practice" recommendations based on prior experiences, and effectively troubleshoot and solve client issues caused by unique client circumstances or software/hardware issues
· Support client’s testing cycles – research complex customer problems, issues, and circumstances and provide recommendation, alternatives and risk assessments to project manager
· Ensure completion of deliverables, managing schedules, meeting milestones, and ensuring creative/technical success
· Develop and maintain technical product knowledge
· Provide contributions to SAP Concur project methodology and document library, which includes development of new documents/processes as well as updating existing documents/processes
· Communicate mostly remote but also face to face with our customers and partners
· Support pre-sales activities from technical and integration perspectives
Qualifications:
· 5+ years of project experiences
· Native Chinese Speaker with fluent English capability
· Experience in professional IT and client facing roles such as consulting, project implementation, application management
· Previous experience in SAP Concur or SaaS is desired.
· General knowledge of SAP products and/or ERP modules (any of the following modules: PI/PO, FI, CO, HCM, etc.)
· Basic programming skills with any language (Java, .Net, Python, SAP ABAP, etc.)
· Database function skills with any products (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.)
· Knowledge of how to make API calls and analyze response/payload.
· Web Development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.) is a plus
· Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Mandarin and English
· Focus on time management and self-managed schedule
· Fast learner and strong business acumen
