PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
In this position, as Intern for the SAP Industries & Experience (SIX) organization, you will work in global team to engage in demo projects for different industries/Line of Business to develop compelling demo content for the field to help close deals and strength our position in marketplace. You will need to work with multiple groups to analyze business requirements, build demo content implementing business scenarios with clarity, style and intuitiveness, writing demo scripts. You will also have chance to engage in innovation projects to extend the capability of helping customers to run their business better.
BTP Solution Experience team is a highly committed team striving for providing top level deal execution support and enabling re-usability of demo content. Our top objective is to continuously improve on efficiency, productivity and creativity. And this requires each team member to always deliver on time and in budget, to keep expanding skills and increasing proficiency in assigned solution areas, to focus on quality and customer experience, to value teamwork spirit, and to be innovative.
So, on the one hand, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of state-of-the-art technologies as well as gain knowledge and insight in supported industries of different regions, and you will work in a virtual team environment and interact with colleagues all over the world. On the other hand, you will have to cope with the challenges that are usually caused by time pressure from demo deadline and pressure from high expectation on quality, as well as pressure from the technical complexity of demo content, time zone difference for project meetings, heterogeneous and evolving landscapes, and constant ramp-up requirements on industries and technologies.
Because all of these, your job will be challenging but also interesting and rewarding.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Junior or first-grade post-graduate student in Computer Science or related discipline. University student that can work 3+ days a week for at least 6 months. Knowledge of SQL for at least one database technology (SAP HANA, MSSQL, Sybase, etc…). Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5 or other programming language. Knowledge of SAP product is preferable. Knowledge of Business Intelligence, Predictive Algorithm, Data Mining is preferable. Fluent English. Team player and interpersonal skills.
