Job Title: SAP Canada: Senior Facility Specialist
Role Purpose & Responsibilities:
As a Facility Specialist, you will implement global and regional Real Estate & Facilities strategies at the local level, overseeing facility operations and supporting property transactions in Vancouver and Calgary. You will act as the main liaison for local stakeholders, ensuring efficient workplace solutions, regulatory compliance, and alignment with SAP’s Global Real Estate & Facilities (GRF) policies.
Partner with project teams, suppliers, and shared services to oversee the conception, planning, utilization, maintenance, renovation, and redevelopment of office space. Coordinate the physical workplace to support organizational needs, including building management, maintenance, repairs, and compliance with environmental, health, and security standards. Proactively support and optimize how teams and visitors use the workspace, ensuring environments are welcoming, functional, and adaptable to evolving business requirements. Recommend and execute facility improvements to enhance efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance. Build, manage, and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders, including business partners, executives, service providers, and regulatory bodies. Partner with and oversee shared services to ensure integrated, efficient, and high-quality delivery of facility and real estate support functions. Participate in the development of innovative workplace strategies in collaboration with regional teams. Monitor facility safety and security, respond rapidly to incidents, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Oversee facility budgets, financial analysis, and reporting, contributing to continuous improvement and change management initiatives. Lead the Vancouver Environmental Management System (EMS) to ensure compliance with ISO 14001 standards, including preparation for and management of internal and external audits, and drive continuous improvement in environmental performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Degree in Facilities Management, Real Estate, Architecture, Finance, Legal, Business, or a related field; professional organization membership is an advantage. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate at all organizational levels, including executives. Demonstrated expertise in facilities management, construction, real estate, and strategic planning. Solution-oriented mindset with a high focus on customer service and innovation. Experience in change management and financial control. Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.Expected Impact:

Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount, and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
