As an SAP BTP Cloud Integration Architect (m/f/d) in an international SAP S/4HANA transformation, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and optimizing cloud-based integration architectures. Through your strategic and operational expertise, you will play a key role in ensuring seamless system connectivity, compliance with security standards and the successful adoption of integration solutions.

LOCATION:
Please note that the working location for this position will be in Madrid city centre, where we are currently setting up a new office location. Until the office is fully set-up within the next few months, you will have the possibility to work flexibly from home-office and continue with a hybrid working model afterwards. This position is not a fully remote position, and an onsite presence will be required once our office location is ready.
Creating passion: your responsibilities Architecture design and implementation: Design and implementation of integration architecture based on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), including SAP Integration Suite (formerly CPI) Technical consulting and advisory: Providing guidance to project teams and business departments on integration scenarios, interfaces and best practices in the SAP S/4HANA context. API management and lifecycle: Designing, implementing and managing secure, scalable APIs on SAP BTP, ensuring lifecycle management and versioning in complex integration landscapes Integration concepts and interface design: Development and documentation of integration scenarios, data flows and interface protocols Implementation and governance: Overseeing the implementation of integration solutions, ensuring compliance with standards, security and governance policies Testing and quality assurance: Planning and execution of integration tests, coordination with business units and external partners Performance optimization: Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks in integration scenarios, monitoring and optimizing cloud services Change management and communication: Accompanying process changes, communicating with stakeholders and promoting user acceptance Contributing your strengths: your qualifications You are a committed expert with a degree in business informatics, computer science or a degree in a comparable field and you have extensive expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), including SAP Integration Suite (CPI), API Management, Event Mesh and Open Connectors. You have a strong technical background in SAP S/4HANA integration, cloud architecture and security compliance Professional experience: At least three years of practical experience in SAP integration architecture and cloud solutions, with a strong focus on SAP BTP and SAP S/4HANA Integration expertise: In-depth knowledge of SAP Integration Suite (CPI), API Management, Event Mesh, Open Connectors and various SAP S/4HANA integration technologies and RFC interfaces. Experience in IDoc, OData/REST services is a plus Architecture and cloud proficiency: Strong expertise in designing and implementing scalable cloud solutions, ensuring security, compliance and governance best practices Process understanding and optimization: Proven ability in mapping, optimizing and automating business processes within technical integration scenarios to drive efficiency and enable business success Analytical and problem-solving skills: Structured and solution-oriented approach to addressing complex integration challenges, ensuring seamless data flows and high-performance systems Communication and teamwork skills: Excellent communication skills, intercultural competence and teamwork skills as well as initiative Languages: Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of German is an advantage Our commitment to you: your benefits
