Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage SAP security roles and authorizations across modules (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Fiori, etc.).
Perform user administration and role maintenance using SAP tools such as PFCG, SU01, SU10, SUIM, and ST01.
Conduct role design workshops with functional and business teams to capture security requirements.
Ensure compliance with segregation of duties (SoD) policies and support periodic access reviews and audits.
Analyze and resolve security-related incidents, issues, and change requests in coordination with end-users and support teams.
Develop and maintain documentation for roles, responsibilities, and security standards.
Work with SAP GRC Access Control (ARM, ARA, BRM, EAM) for risk analysis, role simulation, and firefighting access.
Support internal and external audits, providing requested documentation and evidence for compliance.
Perform security testing for SAP projects, enhancements, and system upgrades or patches.
Collaborate with other SAP technical and functional teams to ensure proper integration of security controls.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience as an SAP Security or Authorizations Consultant.
Strong experience with SAP security tools (PFCG, SUIM, ST01, SU24, SU53, etc.).
Experience with SAP GRC Access Control and SoD risk analysis tools.
Familiarity with Fiori security, HANA database privileges, and cloud-based SAP applications (e.g., Ariba, SuccessFactors) is a plus.
Understanding of IT general controls (ITGC) and compliance requirements such as SOX, GDPR, and ISO 27001.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex authorization issues across SAP landscapes.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
SAP certification in Security or GRC is an advantage.
