Responsibilities:

System Configuration and Implementation:
This involves setting up and configuring SAP Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC) to manage direct material flow, including defining workflows, user roles, and integration with other systems. Direct Material Sourcing and Procurement:
Participating in the sourcing process for direct materials, potentially using SAP Ariba Sourcing, and managing the resulting purchase orders and contracts. Supplier Collaboration:
Working with suppliers through Ariba Network to facilitate communication, confirm orders, manage changes, and ensure timely delivery. Monitoring Material Flow:
Tracking the movement of direct materials from suppliers to the production site, monitoring inventory levels, and identifying potential disruptions or delays. Issue Resolution:
Addressing any issues or discrepancies that arise during the direct material flow process, such as delivery delays, quality problems, or invoicing discrepancies. Reporting and Analysis:
Generating reports on direct material flow, identifying areas for improvement, and providing insights to stakeholders. Compliance:
Ensuring that all activities related to direct material flow comply with relevant regulations and company policies, potentially including those related to quality, safety, and security. Integration with other systems:
Integrating SAP Ariba with other systems like SAP S/4HANA to ensure seamless data exchange and process execution. 

Skills and Experience:

SAP Ariba Expertise:
Deep understanding of SAP Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC) and potentially other modules like SAP Ariba Sourcing. Supply Chain Knowledge:
Familiarity with supply chain processes, including planning, sourcing, procurement, logistics, and inventory management. Direct Material Experience:
Experience working with direct materials, understanding their unique requirements and challenges. Data Analysis:
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and generate reports to support decision-making. Communication and Collaboration:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with both internal teams and external suppliers. Problem-solving:
Ability to identify and resolve issues that arise during the direct material flow process. SAP S/4HANA knowledge:
Understanding of SAP S/4HANA and its integration with Ariba. 

In essence, the role involves leveraging SAP Ariba to optimize the flow of direct materials, ensuring timely availability of materials for production while maintaining cost-effectiveness and compliance
