This position has been segmented "Remote Anywhere" meaning the work is completed 100% remote anywhere in the U.S. except Hawaii or United States Territories.

The SAP Ariba Administrator will support the successful operation, configuration, and continuous improvement of our Ariba Procure-to-Pay (P2P) platform. This role is essential for ensuring seamless system performance, supporting procurement processes, and driving operational excellence through data, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

Ariba System Management & Support

Conduct regular system testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

Manage system service tickets and coordinate with SAP Ariba support as needed.

Oversee the implementation and validation of Ariba enhancement requests.

System Configuration & Integration

Configure and maintain Ariba modules to align with business needs.

Ensure accurate and seamless integration with SAP ERP and other business systems.

Maintain configuration documentation and change logs.

Master Data Management

Ensure accuracy and integrity of supplier, item, and contract master data.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams for consistent data integration and updates.

Reporting & Analytics support for Director of Procurement Operations

Design and deliver scheduled reports and dashboards for various stakeholders.

Track KPIs and procurement benefits to support business decisions.

Conduct spend analytics and opportunity assessments to identify cost savings.

Prepare and deliver compliance and audit reporting.

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management

Act as the Ariba Subject Matter Expert (SME) for internal teams and external partners.

Lead stakeholder management activities to ensure user adoption and satisfaction.

Drive Ariba-related change management, including system upgrades and new functionality.

Design and execute communications and training programs for end-users.

Process Optimization

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on the design and enhancement of procurement processes and category strategies to support P2P enablement.

Align system functionality with procurement policies and procedures.

Identify and implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Additional activities as requested by the business.

SUPERVISION:

N/A

RELATIONSHIPS

Internal: Collaborate across the organization, engaging with cross-functional teams within a matrixed environment at corporate, regional and divisional levels.

External – Suppliers: Build and maintain strong partnerships with preferred suppliers and strategic partners to ensure alignment and performance.

External – Support Services: Coordinate initiatives with nearshore and offshore third-party providers, as well as external business consultants, to drive project success and operational efficiency.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Remote: This role is fully remote, and the associate is expected to perform assigned responsibilities from a home-based environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Three (3) years of experience managing SAP Ariba systems as an Administrator

Three (3) years of experience with project management, strong leadership expertise, time management and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently

Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)

Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills

Passionate about saving money

Work schedule - This role supports a broad base within the business, being able to be available and online between the hours of 8:30am CT and 5pm CT is required.  

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Supply Chain, Business, or related field

CERTIFICATIONS/TRAINING

SAP Ariba certification or relevant technical certifications (SAP Ariba Certification, SAP Certified Application Associate Certification) is required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Proficient in Ariba modules such as Buying and Invoicing, Sourcing, Contracts, and Supplier Management

Strong understanding of procurement operations, compliance, and P2P processes

Hands-on experience with dashboard development, reporting, and data analysis

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams

Experience in change management and user training

Has a continuous improvement mindset

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds).  The expected base rate for this role is between

$75,000 - $120,000
