You Are:

We are looking for an SAP ABAP Senior Developer with techno/functional skills with a strong background in SAP upgrades, particularly SAP S/4HANA on cloud platforms.

This is a remote position based in Mexico. As a SAP ABAP Senior Developer you will be supporting a team in USA and your working hours will be 8 am to 5 pm Pacific Standard Time (40 hours per week).

 

The opportunity:

·       ABAP Development Mastery: Demonstrate expertise in ABAP development based on intricate functional specifications.

·       Advanced Troubleshooting: Address and resolve complex technical issues promptly for users, partners, and colleagues.

·       Comprehensive Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation to ensure clarity and transparency.

·       Strategic Backlog Management: Lead in prioritizing and managing the work backlog to align with strategic business objectives.

·       Strategic Collaboration: Foster strategic collaboration with business users, SAP consultants, developers, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and seamless collaboration. Lead engagement with functional teams for optimal project delivery.

·       Best Practices Advocate: Advocate for and ensure adherence to industry standards, best practices, and the organization's IT architecture.

·       Advanced Testing and Quality Assurance: Lead the development and execution of advanced test plans, collaborating closely with functional teams to surpass acceptance criteria.

·       Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation by staying abreast of industry trends and new SAP features. Lead efforts for process improvement, automation, and optimization within SAP modules and business processes.

 

 

 

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

 

What you need:

·       The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

·       10+ years of experience in the following areas:

•                 SAP developer, with a focus on diverse implementations in SAP modules (Experience in high tech and semiconductor sectors is a significant advantage).

•                 In-depth and advanced knowledge of SAP development tools across various SAP modules.

•                 Mastery of SAP development life cycles and standards.

•                 Expertise in ABAP Workbench, ABAP OO, CDS views, with extensive development and transportation system experience.

·       Nice to have:

·       Exceptional ability to comprehend and translate complex functional requirements into advanced developments. Proven experience in leading complex developments.

·       Outstanding communication and collaboration skills for effective leadership in cross-functional teams.

·       Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities in SAP development processes.

·       Proven experience with Agile methodologies and practices.

·       Willingness and ability to travel as needed to support projects and solution requirements.

·       SAP certification(s) in SAP Development is highly advantageous.
