Pay Rate: $19.05 / hour Duties: + Clean and sanitize all designated areas of the production floor, including sweeping, mopping, and removing debris to meet sanitation standards. + Use and handle cleaning chemicals safely, in accordance with WHMIS and manufacturer guidelines. + Monitor and report any potential maintenance or cleanliness issues to management. + Follow all safety protocols and promote a culture of safety within the team. + Maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety standards specific to pet food production. + Adhere to all company policies regarding health and safety, environmental regulations, and food safety requirements. + Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor. . Position Requirements: + 1-2 years' experience in sanitation or janitorial role. + Must have good Communication skills (verbal). + Consistent commitment to working safely. + Demonstrated ability to react to situations with a strong sense of urgency using a creative and logical approach to resolution. + Ability to work in a team-based environment. + Work is performed on the production floor in a pet food manufacturing environment. + Exposure to noise, raw materials, strong odors, and wet or slippery surfaces. + Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be always worn Requirements: Background Check, Must be at least 18 years old., required education: No Education Requirement.
