Job Description:

Schedule: Sunday – Thursday

Starting Pay: $15.00

Position Summary:

Provides assistance to various warehouse position as requested to include sanitation, selection, inventory control, etc. May be responsible for fueling, washing and/or cleaning semi-trucks/trailers based on assigned distribution center. 

This role is responsible to clean and sanitize the food production facility according to standard operating procedures. 

Here’s what you’ll do: 

Clean and sanitize the food production facility according to guidelines and cleaning checklist.  

Report to supervisor any safety hazards and chemicals; product spills or improperly sealed/stored items.  

Maintain a clean and safe work environment by properly disposing of cleaning chemicals, trash, etc. and ensuring any spills are cleaned up quickly and according to safety guidelines.  

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed. 

General sanitation duties to include cleaning the warehouse, emptying garbage, etc. as assigned.Move or otherwise handle cases, boxes, bags, and/or pallets of dry groceries, frozen foods, dairy products, produce, poultry, fish, beef, pork and related products.  Working in different temperature environments, dry, perishable and frozen. This is primarily all chill and frozen.Will operate power industrial equipment such as a long-tongued electric pallet jack, high-extender high-lift and other moving equipment (i.e., walkers).Ensure equipment is in good working order according to safety checklist as required.  Maintain a clean and safe work environment by properly disposing of pallet boards, wood chips, and other trash, etc. and ensuring any spills are cleaned up quickly and according to safety guidelines.  Lift products weighing between 30-60 lbs. frequently and products weighing up to 75 lbs. occasionally, while ensuring and maintaining a safe work environment. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed

Here’s what you’ll need: 

High School Diploma (Preferred) or GED. 

Must be able to use cleaning agents (solutions/chemicals), supplies and equipment.  

Must be able to understand chemical labels, follow instructions and use cleaning checklist.  

Must follow safe working practices in accordance with Company safety policies and practices, and standard operating procedures.  

Prior experience operating power sanitation equipment and cleaning hand tools helpful.
