**Purpose** This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe facility/warehouse environment, adhering to established procedures and Preferred Work Methods (PWM). **Responsibilities** + Clean and sanitize spills of product, debris, or other foreign matter promptly and effectively. + Clean and sanitize warehouse surfaces, including floors, walls, racking, doors, and other structural elements. + Operate cleaning equipment, including power scrubbers, sweepers, walk-behind scrubbers, and other warehouse cleaning machinery, in a safe and efficient manner. + Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of facility buildings, grounds, lighting fixtures, parking lots, and other exterior areas. + Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, break rooms, locker rooms, and other common areas. + Follow the daily sanitation schedule as assigned by the supervisor to ensure a consistent and effective sanitation maintenance program. + Maintain the warehouse in a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols. + Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately. + Properly dispose of waste and recyclables according to established procedures. **Skills** + Equipment Operation: Ability to safely and effectively operate cleaning equipment such as power scrubbers, sweepers, and other industrial cleaning machinery. + Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods. + Safety Consciousness: Awareness of safety hazards and the ability to follow safety protocols and procedures. + Attention to Detail: Ability to thoroughly clean and sanitize areas, ensuring no areas are missed. + Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and complete assigned tasks within established schedules. + Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members. + Ability to Follow Instructions: Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. + Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team. **Certifications** **Education** High school diploma or GED **Experience** 0-2+ years of experience **Physical Demands** Reasonable accommodations will be taken where necessary **Travel Requirements** 0-25% AFFIRMATIVE ACTION STATEMENT: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
