The Sanitation Systems Operator is responsible for performing maintenance at an RCID Utility potable water treatment facility. Analyze and troubleshoot concerns using data and use proper action to meet the operating objective. Conduct preventative and routine maintenance on facilities and equipment. Ensure the sanitation of the water system and validate the quality and quantity customers receive. The field service position may include work from elevated platforms and confined spaces throughout the Walt Disney World Parks and Resort property.
The pay rate for this role in Florida is $30.63 per hour.

Responsibilities: Collect water samplesMonitor chemical feed and other system componentsMaintain daily maintenance log, including records of meter readings, tests, equipment, and chemical useRegularly read meters and gauges, making adjustments as neededPeriodically flush distribution system using hydrants and blow-off valvesPeriodically assess efficiency of system components (e.g., pumps and valves)Conduct frequent system and security inspectionsConduct routine inspections of wellsExercise valves, flow test meters, hydrant testing and repairsCast members may be required to handle cleaning chemicals and suppliesAdditional Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, etc.) may be required Basic Qualifications: Valid Florida driver’s licenseMinimum of Florida Class C Water Operator’s LicensePossess the ability to interpret blueprintsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsExcellent written and interpersonal communication skillsProficiency in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devices Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with pump stationsKnowledge of monitoring chemical feedFamiliarity with distribution system flushingPrior experience with well inspections and hydrant testing Additional Information: Schedule Availability:
