Oversee, verify, and validate all sanitation activities to assure the facility and equipment operate in compliance with defined food safety and sanitation standards. Ensure that all sanitation associates are trained to safely use sanitation chemicals for CIPs and environmental sanitation.
\nEssential Duties:
\n\nEnsure that proper GMP & housekeeping procedures are followed plant-wide as outlined by Shamrock Policy and that the plant is ready for FDA, State, customer, internal, and external inspections.\nOversee and manage plant Master Sanitation Schedule, Clean-In-Place systems, Sterilize-In-Place systems, and environmental monitoring programs\nUnderstand and implement sanitation and allergen preventive controls as they apply to the facility Food Safety Plan\nVerify and file all records associates with Master Sanitation Schedule, CIP Titration logs, CIP Charts, and Pre-Operational Inspections\nLeads and trains the Sanitation Team in all clean-up activities in the facility and provides feedback to associates in sanitation team\nWork with Ecolab Account Manager on cost-savings projects, managing equipment fund, and equipment necessary to execute Master Sanitation Schedule\nSupport the company’s operational priorities by looking for ways to improve Quality, Safety, and Waste Reduction/Productivity. Use company issued tools to complete projects as assigned.\nCommunicates all special sanitation requirements to Plant Leadership\nMust be willing to work night and weekend hours as needed\nOther duties may be assigned\n\nQualifications:
\n\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)\n3 to 5 years of production & operations management\nGood computer skills including MS Office experience\nExcellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of associates and teams\nContinued training in sanitation and manufacturing preferred\nAbility to use problem solving skills and analysis to make decisions for the plant sanitation program\nMust be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which may be subject to evenings, weekends and holidays.\n\nCorporate Summary:
