Our client, a leader in the food production industry, is seeking a Sanitation Associate to join their team. As a Sanitation Associate, you will be part of the Environmental Operations supporting the overall safety and quality of food products. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sanitation Associate 3rd Shift 

Location: Torrance, CA

Pay Range: $20 per hour + shift differential

What's the Job?

Disassemble and set up all production equipment, ensuring thorough cleaning using COP and CIP systems. Verify the proper cleaning and set-up of all equipment and manage sanitation materials. Monitor and test chemical concentration of all CIP systems, maintaining CIP Chart Recorders and logs. Take inventory of sanitation supplies and utilize bioluminescence technology for verification. Train new associates on required skill sets for Environmental Operations and maintain a safe work area.

What's Needed?

Experience with sanitation in a food manufacturing environment/facility Ability to operate SCADA system and complete necessary paperwork. Basic troubleshooting skills for all sanitation equipment. Commitment to following the plant Master Cleaning Schedule. Willingness to train in other areas of the plant as required. Strong adherence to GMP and Safety guidelines.
