Responsible for maintaining compliance with the operational budget and assisting with the operational and capital budget planning. Responsible for participating in the strategic planning and goal setting for departments. Responsible for assuring the quality and scope of services provided in these areas. Provides and promotes a corporate culture that enhances the quality of care and customer service. Provides leadership to associates, responsible for building and maintaining healthy work environments. Sustains outstanding physician, patient, and employee relationships across multiple service lines and with multiple physician partners. **The value you'll bring to the team:** + Responsible for the oversight of the operations in the assigned departments. + Responsible for and provides leadership to the success of the department including patient/physician/employee satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and stewardship. + Establishes a positive motivating, constructive rapport with physicians, staff, and other departments. + Responsible for maintaining compliance with the operational budget and assisting with the operational and capital budget planning. + Responsible for participating in the strategic planning and goal setting for all departments. + Recruits, selects, monitors, develops, coaches, and mentors staff to achieve outcomes for quality patient care. + Maintains a unit environment that encourages retention, development of staff, customer service, and family-centered care. + Facilitates staff competency by identifying, measuring and evaluating desired performance and holding staff accountable. + Develops and achieves unit goals and objectives utilizing a participative approach to improve the quality of care and market position. + Facilitates creative development of processes and standards which ensure quality patient care. + Engages in a collaborative partnership with physicians to impact quality of service. + Manages limited resources Participates in making collaborative decisions that contribute to the success of the organization. + Uses critical things and emotional intelligence to adapt to changing needs of a healthcare system. + Serves as a contact for customer issues. Coaches staff on problem solving and critical thinking Enhances patient satisfaction with timely scheduling and coordination of patient care. + Maintains technological equipment and innovation for test reporting. + Ensures safety of each patient in least restrictive manner. + Responsible for quality and safety of the department in accordance with regulatory agencies. + Develops, implements and maintains QA/Pl program for all assigned Departments. + Participates in quality improvement. Assures accurate collection of data into registries and use of that data for improvement. + Engages in professional activities through involvement in professional organizations, journal clubs, on-line education, etc. + This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties. Qualifications **The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:** + Associate Required + Bachelor's Required + Five or more years of Work Experience Required + Organizational + Verbal Interpersonal + Customer Relations + Grammar/Spelling + Read/Comprehend written instructions + Follow verbal instructions + Keyboarding (manual) + Computer (visual) + Strong knowledge of financial and business aspects. + Registered Nurse (RN) Current RN license or ARRT, NMTCB, ARDMS, RCIS, or RCES registry required. Additional Radiology sub-specialty certification preferred.
