Purpose of Role: The Sandblaster is responsible for safely handling, moving, cleaning, and preparing equipment surfaces by sandblasting and applying required adhesives. They are also required to complete all associated paper work and documentation related to sandblasting of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Move Material: Move products into sandblasting booth using forklift.Operate Equipment Safely: Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces for painting or coating. Sandblast products to white metal finish.Maintain Work Documents: Ensure traveler information is properly filled out and maintained. Document work performed and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns.Apply Adhesives: Inspect surfaces to ensure thorough cleaning and preparation. Apply correct adhesives according to proper procedures.Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

High School Diploma1+ years of general labor experiencePainting experience would be an asset
