2020 Companies is hiring a remote full-time Financial Coordinator!
The Financial Coordinator will serve as a key resource to both Finance and Program Operations, focused on building program budgets, tracking costs, and ensuring billing accuracy across all roles. This role will support cost analysis, run rate forecasting, and process improvement while managing all POs, SOWs, and financial documentation. The coordinator will partner closely with clients and internal teams to identify risks, prevent overspending or underspending, and ensure operational and contractual compliance. Success in this role requires strong financial discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Our Benefits:
Compensation Range: $70,000–$85,000 annually (Base + Bonus), commensurate with experience

Job Description:
Budgeting & Cost Management
Build and maintain detailed program budgets
Forecast run rates and analyze spend against targets
Identify trends, flag variances, and propose corrective actions
Billing, Invoicing & Stakeholder Alignment
Ensure accurate billing across all roles and hours
Partner with HR, Payroll, and Ops to reconcile actuals vs. planned spend
Support monthly invoicing cycles and ensure financial documentation aligns with client expectations
Financial Operations & Documentation
Track and manage POs, SOWs, and contract renewals
Coordinate document approvals and maintain signature compliance
Ensure financial documentation is complete, up to date, and audit-ready
Reporting & Ad Hoc Analysis
Generate weekly/monthly budget status and variance reports
Support internal and client-facing reporting needs
Provide data-driven insights that inform strategic and financial decisions
Performance Measurements:
Function as a subject matter expert in budget tracking, forecasting, and financial compliance
Build strong relationships across Finance, Operations, and client teams
Deliver timely and accurate tracking of all programs and financial deliverables
Proactively identify cost-saving opportunities and procedural improvements
Maintain consistent documentation of financial agreements, approvals, and renewals
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field (required)
3–5 years of experience in financial coordination, cost accounting, or FP&A
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, nested formulas, if/and/or statements)
Familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, and Office 365 is a plus
Experience with Office Scripts, VBA, or Macros is a bonus
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities independently
