Title:  Sample Coordinator (PD)

 

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

 

This position will assist in the end-to-end product development process with a focus on protos and salesman samples.  The ideal candidate will play an important role in creating working tools that enable company efficiencies and promotes strategic thinking.
 

Assist in creating all PO’s for fabrics and styles Send out seasonal color standards to our vendor baseTrack lab dip and strike off ETAsAssist in checking all Bill Of Materials / Tech Packs are consistent with fabric/trim/color specificationsSend out BOMs and subsequent updates at the request of the product development directorTrack all protos, sales samples, and fit samples to ensure adherence to calendar deadlinesCreate cut tickets for in house SMS, track samples for completion, check finished samples against the BOM. Supply commercial invoices or any additional information required by customs for incoming packages. Track all incoming packages and confirm receiptResponsible for sending and distributing packages, filing swatches, labeling, tagging and steaming garments Distribute samples to pertinent team membersUpdate seasonal trackers with daily sample receiptsMaintain sample organization Prepare samples for shipmentAttend weekly cross functional team meetings and discuss sample status, vendor updates and changes that fall outside of the calendar deadlinesAssist in creating handover sheets and ensure all color standards and fabric information is correct and ready for bulk placementAssist the product development team in day to day functions as needed

 

Qualifications/Experience We’re Looking For:

 

Industry related experienceMust have strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and WordMust have strong communication skills, written and verbal and follow up skillsMust be able to multi task, set priorities and meet deadlinesMust be organized and have a strong attention to detailMust be able to adapt quickly to changing business requirementsMust be an effective team player and have a strong sense of urgency
