Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriateDemonstrates and promotes the company visionRegular attendance and punctualityPerform skilled analytical procedures accurately and precisely without supervisionWrite and update SOPs, analytical methodsLearn new analyses with minimal guidanceUnderstand and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and proceduresCommunicate results and interpretation of results to clientsSuperior level of QC performanceHelp coordinate work of technicians to meet hold times, rush, promised, and standard laboratory turnaround timesSufficient knowledge of department operations to determine if rush can be promisedVerify assigned analysesTrain others in analytical procedures, principles, instrumentation, and safety practicesAssist technicians and laboratory assistants as neededConducts all activities in a safe and efficient mannerPerforms other duties as assigned

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Chemist ,or related field, equivalent relevant experience may substitute for a degreeLab testing experience-total solids, protein, salinity, pH, titrations, etc.Computer skillsAbility to stand at lab bench for long periods of timeAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Ideal Candidates will have:

Lab experience- benchwork and instrumentationAbility to interact well with co-workers, problem-solve, understand statisticsStrong writing skills

Shift: subject to change – Tuesday through Saturday 9am-5:30 pm

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
