Position Overview:

We are seeking a Specimen Accessioner to play a pivotal role in laboratory operations, primarily handling blood specimens. This position is

essential for the diagnostic and treatment processes, ensuring accurate cataloging of patient samples while collaborating with laboratory personnel. Responsibilities include managing clinical data within the LIMS database, conducting internal audits, and working across departments to uphold testing accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive and triage specimens for clinical testing.Maintain clinical records within the LIMS database.Perform internal audits of patient charts.Collaborate with multiple departments to validate testing precision.

Essential Skills:

Sample management and specimen processing.Handling, labeling, and inventory management.Compliance with GLP standards.Sample preparation, storage, and biobank operations.Proficiency with SAP and QMS software.

Required Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED.Minimum one year of experience in sample management or warehouse operations.Detail-oriented, efficient, and capable of working independently or within a team.Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences.Experience in aseptic environments.Familiarity with GLP/GCP regulations.data entry and tracking processes.

Work EnviroExperiencenment:

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5 PM – 1 AM.Setting: Laboratory-based, specializing in blood specimens and utilizing advanced processing systems.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
