Duties
Drive, develop, promote, and grow sales of MAPEI Admixtures for Concrete product line. Sell Admixtures for concrete with an emphasis on hands-on demonstrations using sample, presentations, and professional product displays. Position MAPEI as an industry leader company that provides quality products and a customer first approach. Develop and successfully execute field sales action plans. Deliver price discounts and credit terms as determined by Company. Utilize a complete understanding of pricing and proposal models. Retain current accounts and prospect new business opportunities. Analyze the market potential of concrete producers. Develop solutions and maintain solid working relationships with distributors, stakeholders of key projects, contractors, specifiers, and other key business influencers. Provide daily activity through CRM. Provide weekly and monthly sales activity report. Work with Accounts Receivable to administer company credit and payment policies. Provide market feedback regarding customer and competitors; provide recommendations to the manager for new products needs and new trends within the territory consistent with sales goals. Represent company at necessary industry trade shows, associations, lunch and learns, and various other activities to help it obtain the desired leadership position in this segment. Ensure superior and technical support; coordinate and, if required, conduct internal and external technical trainings. Visit jobsites and communicate any customer complaints in line with company procedures, follow up internally to ensure that corrective and preventative action is taken and properly documented in accordance with ISO Procedures, and with customer to ensure that they are satisfied with our response and solution. Submit jobsite reports, pictures to include the topics discussed and follow-up needed. Collaborate with Corporate resources such Technical Services, Customer Service, Marketing, Logistics etc., to deliver exceptional standards of service to MAPEI customers. Perform other duties as required.Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business administration, preferred. Minimum 5 years outside sales experience and / or minimum 5 years knowledge of building materials industries is required. Experience managing a sales territory independently. Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills, Spanish and English. Use Microsoft Office Suite software including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, as well as using the Internet. Proficient in D365 (Dynamics) and CRM systems, preferred. Technical sales knowledge is a plus.
