This role is crucial for upholding the quality, functionality, accessibility, and performance of Salesforce Experience Cloud portals. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing comprehensive testing activities, employing various methodologies and industry-standard tools. These include automated user interface (UI) testing using Robot Framework and Selenium, performance evaluation with JMeter, and thorough accessibility assessments leveraging NVDA while adhering to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 standards. This position necessitates a robust understanding of Salesforce best practices, particularly within Experience Cloud and the Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS), and a strong dedication to ensuring accessible and high-performing digital experiences for users. Responsibilities: * Meticulously test the user interface and functionality of Experience Cloud portals to ensure alignment with design specifications and business requirements. * Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Robot Framework and Selenium, specifically targeting Salesforce Lightning Design System components within the Experience Cloud environment. * Design and create comprehensive test cases, test plans, and test data to ensure thorough coverage of Experience Cloud functionalities across diverse user scenarios. * Perform regression testing to validate that new changes, updates, or enhancements do not negatively impact existing functionality or user experience. * Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications, informing the design of effective test strategies. * Ensure Salesforce Experience Cloud portals meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA conformance. * Conduct detailed manual accessibility audits, including keyboard navigation testing, colour contrast analysis, and semantic HTML structure reviews. * tilise screen reader tools, with a focus on NVDA, to simulate the experience of visually impaired users and identify accessibility barriers. * Document accessibility defects and provide actionable recommendations for remediation. * Collaborate with developers during design and development phases to promote accessibility best practices and ensure seamless integration of accessibility requirements. * Provide guidance and support to development teams on implementing accessible solutions that comply with WCAG 2.2 guidelines. * Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using JMeter to evaluate the responsiveness, stability, and scalability of Salesforce Experience Cloud portals. * Conduct load testing to simulate realistic user traffic and identify potential performance bottlenecks. * Perform stress testing to determine the limits of the portals and ensure they can handle peak usage scenarios. * Analyse performance test results, identify areas for optimisation, and generate reports for the development team. * Collaborate with developers to implement performance improvements and conduct re-testing to verify their effectiveness. * Contribute to the development and maintenance of the test automation framework. * Extend automated test coverage to incorporate new features and functionalities in Experience Cloud portals. * Integrate automated test scripts into the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline. * Analyse automated test results and collaborate with the development team to address failures. * Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira). * Collaborate with developers, providing clear and reproducible steps to facilitate efficient defect resolution. * Participate in bug triage meetings to prioritise and manage the defect backlog. * Perform thorough retesting to confirm defect resolution and ensure no new issues or regressions are introduced. * Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers throughout the software development lifecycle. * Provide regular updates on testing progress, findings, and potential risks to stakeholders. * Participate in requirement gathering sessions and design review meetings, offering a testing perspective and identifying potential quality concerns. * Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies. **Required technical and professional expertise** * Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in testing Salesforce applications, with a focus on Salesforce Experience Cloud portals. * Experience testing the UI and functionality of Salesforce Experience Cloud portals, adhering to Salesforce Lightning Design System guidelines. * In-depth understanding of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 standards and experience applying them to web application testing. * Experience in manual and automated accessibility testing, including proficiency in using screen reader tools, specifically NVDA. Experience delivering accessible Salesforce portals that meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA standards, and providing guidance on accessibility issue remediation. * Proficiency in using Robot Framework and Selenium to design, develop, and execute automated UI tests for Salesforce Lightning components within Experience Cloud. * Experience using JMeter for performance testing of web applications, including designing, executing, and analysing load and stress tests. * Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira) and the ability to document, track, and manage software defects. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. * Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively within an agile team environment. **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Experience with accessibility testing tools and techniques beyond NVDA. * Understanding of Salesforce development concepts (Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL). * Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., BitBucket, GitHub CI). * Performance testing experience with tools like LoadRunner or Gatling. * Familiarity with agile development methodologies and testing practices. Relevant certifications in accessibility testing.
