Our client is searching for a Salesforce Solutions Architect for a long-term contract in Albany, NY. ***All candidates must work directly for TEKsystems on a W2 basis and no sponsorship is available. All candidates must work on site in Albany, NY*** The Solution Architect will design and develop software for a large state government organization. The incumbent will work together with the business partners to understand business requirements and design the overall application architecture, including components and interfaces, and write, test and debug code as required. Specific duties will include but are not limited to the following: • Conducts review of the current infrastructure, applications, and business requirements to determine optimal cloud architecture • Collaborates with application developers and system administrators to ensure interoperability between cloud and on-premises components, and between one cloud platform to another, resolving integration challenges • Develops detailed plans for migrating applications, data, and infrastructure from on-premises environments to the cloud while ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations • Designs, implements, and manages containerized solutions, involving Kubernetes or similar orchestration platforms to ensure scalability, reliability, and security • Design and define API architecture and standards • Designs and implements Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions to ensure secure and efficient file exchange across systems • Works with various stakeholders, including vendors, developers, and business leaders to ensure the cloud strategy meets their needs • Manages, monitors, and optimizes cloud environments for performance, cost, and scalability • Communicates verbally and in writing with a variety of individuals including management, users, vendors and other technology staff Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $85.00/hr.
