Salesforce Software Engineer (Contract)
Are you ready to join a growing team? CTG is seeking to fill a Salesforce Software Engineer (Contract) opening for our client in Buffalo, NY. Location: Buffalo, NY (remote considered) Overview: We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Software Engineer to support development efforts within a regulated banking environment. The successful candidate will design and build Lightning Web Components (LWCs), Apex classes, and Flows, while also contributing to REST API integrations. This role requires strong technical expertise, collaboration with product and architecture teams, and adherence to Agile delivery practices. Primary Responsibilities: Develop and maintain LWCs, Apex, and Flows within Salesforce. Design, implement, and troubleshoot REST API integrations. Write and maintain unit tests to ensure high code quality. Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and architects to deliver scalable solutions. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement. Utilize GitLab/Git for source control, branching, and CI/CD processes. Scope of Responsibilities: Hands-on Salesforce development with a focus on scalable, secure, and efficient solutions. Ensuring compliance with development and release standards in a regulated environment. Supporting both new feature development and ongoing production enhancements. Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities: None. This is an individual contributor role. Education and Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience with Salesforce development, including LWCs, Apex, and Flows. Strong understanding of REST APIs and integration best practices. Hands-on experience with Git/GitLab and Agile delivery methodologies. Education and Experience Preferred: Experience with nCino in a banking or financial services environment. Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer, Administrator, or Architect). Previous work in regulated industries, especially banking. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
