Salesforce Platform Administrator, Amazon Freight EU
Description Amazon Freight has externalised Amazon's world-class logistics and transportation expertise to support businesses across Europe and North America with their freight needs. We are seeking a passionate, results-oriented Salesforce Administrator to help maintain and support our Salesforce CRM org. This role partners with a diverse group of technical and non-technical stakeholders, including a 100+ person Sales team, as well as Product, Marketing, Strategy, Security, Legal, and Finance, to design, implement, and manage systems and strategies that drive Commercial productivity and align with organizational objectives. You will work with our existing Salesforce team in the EU and North America to develop and implement a short and long term platform and governance strategy and roadmap to analyze, communicate, validate, and implement changes that make it simpler for our Salesforce team to operate at scale while maintaining Amazon’s high bar for platform integrity and security. As a Technical Program Manager on Amazon Freight’s EU Business Operations team, you will support ongoing maintenance, configuration, and integrations. You will ensure new projects and integrations fit Freight’s Architecture and own security reviews for new tooling and 1P and 3P integrations. The successful candidate must have a strong Salesforce technical knowledge, prioritize multiple work streams, eager to learn, be a strong team player, and execute in a fast-paced environment. Key job responsibilities • Develop and execute Salesforce Platform and Governance strategy and roadmap. • Work with stakeholders to deliver requirements which are both of a high standard and to specification. • Work within a robust prioritization methodology to ensure requirements are tracked, delivered and communicated to stakeholders through a clear view of the roadmap • Own the end-to-end delivery of platform-related features, integrations, and updates including build, UAT, seasonal releases, and deployments. • Work alongside our EU and North American Salesforce Team & Sales Tools Team to own and maintain quality integrations to add value for the Commercial team. • Design, develop, and optimize automation of platform processes to enhance user productivity and improve data hygiene across the platform. Such as license management and provisioning, permissions, and end user bug and support tickets. • Navigate complex security and compliance standards and processes to implement effective tool solutions, adapting to Amazon's constantly evolving and rigorous security landscape including development of threat models and technical design documents. Basic Qualifications - Experience in technical program management working directly with software engineering teams - Experience managing cross-functional programs and release schedules - Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design - Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps - Experience managing technical programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition - Experience working directly with engineering teams - Experience in system design - 3+ years of Salesforce hands-on configuration including the Salesforce Lightning Experience Preferred Qualifications - Experience in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management - Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules - Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership - - Certified Salesforce Administrator - - Working knowledge of software development methodologies like Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or equivalent - - Strong attention to detail, organization skills and excellent problem solving skills - - 2+ years experience implementing Salesforce in a logistics, operations, or supply chain management implementation - - Experience with 3P Salesforce Integrations and APIs Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
