Salesforce Financial Force Developer
**Salesforce Financial Force Developer** **Role Overview:** A Financial Force support personnel member is responsible for end-to-end support of applications built on Salesforce and Financial Force app-exchange products. This includes monitoring, incident management, technical troubleshooting, and providing functional expertise. This role requires strong skills in Salesforce application development (APEX, LWC, configuration) and a deep understanding of Financial Force functionality. **Location:** Riverwoods, IL **(Chicago Suburb)** **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Monitor application and health system using tools such as AutoSys for batch jobs. 2. Respond to incidents and alerts, following established SOPs documented in Excel/Word. 3. Assign and track incidents within the Financial Force support group. 4. Collaborate with upstream and downstream teams as needed. 5. Maintain and update documentation related to incidents, SOPs, and support processes. 6. Support application changes, including OS patching and validations. 7. Provide functional and technical support for Salesforce and Financial Force app-exchange products. 8. Develop, troubleshoot, and configure Salesforce applications using APEX, LWC, and declarative tools. 9. Engage with business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure alignment with application capabilities. **Technical and Functional Skills Required:** + Proficiency in Salesforce application development (APEX, LWC, configuration) + Functional knowledge of Financial Force app-exchange products + Experience with Unix, Shell, and Windows batch scripting + Experience with AutoSys (batch job scheduling) + Familiarity with Salesforce Data Loader + Strong documentation and communication skills + Ability to troubleshoot and resolve both functional and technical issues **Support Expectations:** + Ability to handle both SME and monitoring responsibilities **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience in a similar support environment + Prior experience supporting Salesforce and Financial Force applications + Ability to work independently and as part of a team This role is ideal for candidates with strong technical and functional skills in Salesforce and Financial Force, a proactive approach to incident management, and the ability to support critical business applications around the clock. **Salary and Other Compensation:** Applications will be accepted until 09/26/2025. The annual salary for this position is between $ 83,250– $ 132,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
