Are you ready to join a growing team? CTG is seeking to fill a Salesforce Engineer opening for our client in Philadelphia, PA. Location: Philadelphia, PA Duration: 6 months Overview: This role is primarily responsible for designing, building, and maintaining web solutions within our Equipment Finance Development Team. The successful candidate will have Salesforce Community/Experience Cloud experience and be skilled with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Primary Responsibilities: Complete basic to complex systems analysis, design, and development. Play a key role as an individual contributor on complex projects. Assist the client in addressing daily problems/issues of any scope. Determine feasible solutions and make recommendations. Function as the Front End Expert within the team and guide less experienced resources. Coordinate systems development tasks on small to medium scope efforts or specific phases of larger projects. Participate with Development, Operations, and Technology staff in systems and integrated testing. Prepare test data, execute test plans, and complete any required debugging. Evaluate complex interrelationships and effects among programs and interfacing applications. Develop clear and complete technical and functional specifications. Review documentation prepared by less experienced staff. Update systems documentation and prepare charts, tables, and diagrams for analysis. Promote and follow development standards and procedures. Maintain a strong working knowledge of supported applications and environments. Understand and adhere to risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls. Complete other related duties as required, including due diligence, cost/benefit analysis, and vendor evaluation. Scope of Responsibilities: This position works under the supervision of the Engineering Team Lead and may receive direction from more experienced team members. The jobholder is expected to work independently on most high-level systems analysis and development tasks and to understand the business and its terminology. The jobholder may manage activities of others on a project basis and may assist in training less experienced staff. Interaction with other technology teams, clients, and vendors is expected. Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities: May lead project activities and coordinate work of less experienced resources. Education and Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree and minimum 2 years of systems analysis/application development experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 6 years of education and/or work experience including at least 4 years of systems analysis/application development experience Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS Experience with Salesforce Community/Experience Cloud Familiarity with application development and troubleshooting Strong problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to manage project milestones and delivery timelines Experience collaborating between application teams and business units Education and Experience Preferred: Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum) Salesforce Certified JavaScript Developer Understanding of banking application frameworks Subject matter expertise in business areas supported Familiarity with interfacing/integrated applications Ability to work both independently and in a team environment Ability to multitask and manage moderately complex projects Action-oriented and proactive approach Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
