About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce developer to troubleshoot and enhance a recently launched Salesforce application, ensuring optimized functionality and public service delivery. The ideal candidate brings both technical fluency and a deep understanding of how to map.
Duties and Responsibilities: (these duties are a general summary and not all inclusive):
Design, implement, and optimize Salesforce solutions that align with agency goals, compliance frameworks, and service mandates.Collaborate with program managers and policy leads to convert operational requirements into functional Salesforce capabilities.Ensure platform configurations meet data governance, cybersecurity, and accessibility standards including FedRAMP, FISMA, and Section 508.Integrate Salesforce with legacy systems to streamline workflows and enhance inter-agency collaboration. Provide training and knowledge transfer to government teams, fostering long-term platform sustainability.Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Hands-on Salesforce Development: 3–5 years of direct experience in developing and shipping Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Components (Aura/LWC), and Visualforce pages Salesforce Data Model Proficiency: Advanced skills in designing and refactoring complex custom objects, lookups, master-detail relationships, and automation (Flows, Process Builder). Integrations experience: Build/Maintain integrations – API (Rest/Soap) with 3rd parties, OAuth, Mulesoft, etc. Testing/Deployments: Automated tests / BDD; CI/CD - Copado expertise Familiarity with regulatory requirements and public sector IT compliance frameworks Ability to translate programmatic needs into agile technical solutions Salesforce Certified Administrator Salesforce Certified Platform Developer Salesforce CertifiedOmniStudio Developer Salesforce Certified Consultant (Public Sector Solutions, Sales Cloud, or Service Cloud) Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile certification a plusThe above list represents examples of skills we seek, but applicants do not need to have each of these items.
