_Are you ready to join a growing team?_ **CTG is seeking to fill a Salesforce Developer opening for our client in Buffalo, NY.** **Location:** Buffalo, NY **Duration:** 5 months **Overview:** CTG is looking for a skilled Salesforce Developer with experience writing Apex Classes, Triggers, and Lightning Web Components (LWC). Experience with the nCino platform is a strong advantage. The selected candidate will play a principal role in designing and developing technical solutions, solving complex problems, and collaborating with other team members to support both day-to-day activities and large-scale projects. **Primary Responsibilities:** + Complete and oversee systems analysis, design, and development for basic to complex solutions. + Serve as a key contributor on complex projects, maintaining strong knowledge of supported applications. + Lead and mentor less experienced developers and coordinate development tasks on projects of varying scope. + Prepare and manage technical project components, including timelines and resource allocations. + Participate in full lifecycle development, from technical analysis through to user acceptance testing. + Review and execute detailed test plans, including data preparation and debugging. + Evaluate complex interrelationships between systems and applications to ensure optimal functionality. + Draft and maintain clear and thorough technical/functional documentation. + Support and maintain application effectiveness and efficiency. + Recommend and help evaluate new technologies and processes. + Promote and follow standard development practices. + Maintain an understanding of business functions, operations, and strategic direction. + Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory standards, and audit points. + Foster a diverse and inclusive environment in alignment with M&T Bank values. **Scope of Responsibilities:** This role reports to the Technology Team Lead. The Salesforce Developer works independently on high-level technical phases of development and may manage project-based activities. The position includes monitoring team performance on deliverables, interacting with senior management and vendors, and may represent the department on committees or ad-hoc initiatives. **Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:** While not a direct supervisory role, this position may lead small to large scope projects and provide guidance to junior developers or project team members. **Education and Experience Required:** + Associate degree and at least 5 years of systems analysis/application development experience _or_ + In lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 7 years higher education and/or work experience, including 5 years systems analysis/application development. + Strong proficiency in Apex, Triggers, LWC, and Salesforce development. + Experience with application development tools and platforms. + Strong problem-solving, communication, organizational, and time management skills. + Proficiency in project management, spreadsheet, and word processing software. + Ability to work on complex, multi-component projects. + Experience communicating between technical teams and business stakeholders. **Education and Experience Preferred:** + Experience with the nCino platform. + Understanding of M&T Bank’s application framework. + Subject matter expertise in business domains supported by the application. + Ability to lead technical aspects of large-scale, cross-functional projects. + Proactive and action-oriented approach with the ability to multitask and work both independently and collaboratively.
