Scope of role
Our Digital Solutions team is looking for a Salesforce Developer who is passionate about enabling all types of users to get the most out of Salesforce. The right candidate will have a strong blend of communication skills, business acumen and platform knowledge. The right candidate will be energized by managing one or multiple Salesforce Cloud solutions (Sales, Marketing, Service, Service Cloud Voice, Field Service Management, Experience Cloud, Order Management, CPQ and Logik.IO) and owning all of the design and architecture design following best practices with scalability, supportability, sustainability, speed and storage within it.
Key Responsibilities
In this individual contributor role, you will be working alongside an enthusiastic and talented team with diverse backgrounds, including the Product Owner, Architect, Developer, Sr. Business Analyst and fellow Salesforce Administrators. You will be supporting an environment with over 2,200 users. You will be responsible for the corresponding deliverables through our projects and their lifecycles.
Custom User Interface development, including Visualforce* pages/Lightning pages, Aura Components** and Lightning Web Components
Integrations: Use Salesforce APIs to integrate with other systems used in the organization
Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Visualforce*, (based on specific requirements) to extend Salesforce in order to support business requirements
Collaborating with the Salesforce Administrator to validate business requirements and any considerations (security, scalability, limits)
Best Practices: Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write / maintain test classes for all custom development
Collaborating with IT / Developers for other systems in order to integrate across the business
Makes recommendations on integration strategy, platform evolution, infrastructure, and tooling selection to optimize user experience
Create technical documentation
Work as part of an agile and waterfall mixed product development team responsible for the timely execution of assigned tasks, and leverage experience to promote process improvement
Understand and apply application architecture standards, policies and procedures
Experience implementing and developing in Apex, Visualforce, and JavaScript
Stay up-to-date on Salesforce’s latest offerings and explore beta/pilot functionality if relevant
Provide thought leadership in technical areas of expertise to promote the best of breed culture in application development
Qualifications
Technical Skills Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in a , Computer Science, Mathematics or other related fields
5+ years of Salesforce development experience
Salesforce Platform Developer Certifications
Strong knowledge of Salesforce.com architecture components - Sales, Service, Marketing, OMS, CPQ clouds
Data modelling skills
Advanced skills in Salesforce application including configuration, apex classes, platform events, flows, triggers, process builders, workflows, visual force, lightning web components, aura components, lightning experience, apex coding, batch processes, and database design
Experience with designing and implementing custom applications on Force.com platform
Experience with integrations to external systems using a middleware solution like Mulesoft

Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language and to interface on business and technical concepts

Self-starter with proven ability to successfully kick-start new initiatives and to drive complex issues through analysis and resolution

Other Salesforce certifications
Logik.IO advanced configurator knowledge or experience
DevOps tools knowledge and experience
Based in Milwaukee, WI is preferred.
Expected Salary: $90,000 - 115,000 annually.
