Summary Job title: Sales Trainee* Job ID: 202541570007 Department: Lincoln - RES Location: NE-Lincoln Description Summary: Rensenhouse's competitive Sales Training Program provides the tools and training for learning the ins and outs of one of the nation’s fastest growing industries. In this approximate 24-month rotational position, you will be exposed to various roles in each facet of the company, gaining experience in all aspects of the business. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, exemplifies stellar time management and communication skills, and is excited to be empowered and involved in business goals and initiatives. In this position, you will: + Learn all aspects of the Rensenhouse business + Participate in on- the-job training and mentoring + Establish, develop, and maintain relationships and rapport with Clients + Learn about our customers businesses and solve problems to help them be more successful + Work with autonomy to create goals and find ways to reach them Reports to: Adam Learmont Minimum Qualifications: + Must be at least 18 years of age + Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent work / technical experience + Current, valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record + Authorization to work in the United States (without requiring work authorization sponsorship by CED now or in the future) + Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English + Computer proficiency + Demonstrated capacity to learn technical product knowledge. + Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service and handle multiple priorities at once Preferred Qualifications: + Must be personally driven and self-motivated. Should display initiative and perseverance. + Must have stellar multitasking and prioritizing ability, as well as a strong sense of urgency. + Must be organized and have a system for note taking and recollection of information. + Possess strong problem-solving skills and be creative in your thinking. + Must have the humility to admit when you need help and ask for assistance. + Teamwork + Detail-oriented + Flexibility Working Conditions: + This job operates primarily in an office environment and includes warehouse work and conditions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. + While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to: + stand; walk; sit; + use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; + reach with hands and arms; + climb stairs; + talk or hear. + The employee must occasionally lift or move products and supplies, up to 50 pounds. Supervisory Responsibilities: No Essential Job Functions: Sample Outline + 6 weeks - Warehouse Training - Learn the process flow of the business, Safety and equipment operation; shipping/receiving; freight claims; paper processing; backorders; warehouse organization; product familiarity + 5 Months - Counter Sales - Product knowledge; customer interface and sales ability + 10 Weeks - Operations - Includes purchasing, Inventory management, Pricing, Accounts Payable/ Receivable, and internal checks and balances. + 6 Months - Inside Sales - Writing quotes and order management, Vendor relationships and negotiations, creating and maintaining target funnel, building new relationships, engaging shared team resources + 12 Months - Outside Sales - Take ownership of assigned accounts and develop specific plans for engagement and growth. Understand client challenges and deploy resources as necessary. Enjoy winning sales orders and growing market share, through problem solving and customer service + Provide outstanding customer service to all current and potential customers. + Write orders with accuracy and in accordance to all sales policies and procedures + Maintain current customer base + Participate in monthly sales initiatives and always seek to grow business in the best interest of Rensenhouse and our Clients + Communicate and cooperate with Account Managers and other CED employees like the Solutions Consultants and AIMM Services groups for all pertinent activities + Communicate process improvement ideas + Provide timely follow-up on all customer orders, quotes, and materials + Maintain up-to-date awareness with new and existing products and services + Utilize CRM software as a hub of knowledge for Client information and projects that need to be followed up on + Stay curious and strive to be the easiest partner for our clients to work with.
